5 stars because there's no option for 6! For years, the standard was Otom in West LA. It was another hole in the wall of sorts. This is as good or better - IYKYK, Sea Salt is amazing. The quality, tastes, temperatures, and textures are perfect. If you don't love Sea Salt you may be accustomed to fast-food quality sushi. TRY THIS PLACE

I was next door at the Impact-X Performance fitness and the kids wanted lunch after my appointment. They were really hungry. I went in and ordered takeout of a Baked Salmon Roll & Cream Cheese, a Baked Scallop Roll & Mushroom and Onion, a Spicy Salmon Tempura Roll, a Crunchy Roll, a Soft Shell Crab Roll, and a Caterpillar. The lady told me that it would be 20 minutes. I could see there was quite a lunch crowd. I went back out to the car to wait. Order was ready at promised time. The rolls were filling and everyone's hunger was satisfied. I can't say that I like soft shell crab roll, but the person who ordered it liked it well enough. I really enjoyed the baked salmon roll. We would order from here again. If we had the time, we would have eaten there and had the lunch meal.

This has become our Go-To sushi spot! We love the freshness, the variety of rolls and the su-chefs! The place is small, so you definitely should come on a night other than Saturday. The prices are more than reasonable and there are a lot of rolls without rice. We love our Sea Salt meals!!!

Food was good, nice portion, friendly service. Had the lunch specials, 3 hand rolls, fish tasted fresh! Will be back soon.

Came in with a couple girlfriends for dinner a couple weeks ago and we ordered the tuna tataki special and edamame to start which were delicious. Had an iced green tea and put in our orders of Jessica Alba specialty roll and two spicy tuna rolls and a rainbow roll. They were all delicious loveee the Jessica Alba roll!! Fresh sushi and everything was so yummy. Server seemed a little frazzled and was a little short wasn't that busy but overall had a great dinner

My wife and I usually visit this sushi restaurant on the way to Trader Joe's. It's small and usually has 1 employee handling the room. One thing that drives me crazy is every single time we visit they give us one menu to share. We could be the only people in the restaurant and they still give us one menu to share. Sushi here is really good. The portions are generous and the price is pretty good. The common rolls come out really fast so I think they're made in the kitchen. The more complicated rolls made by the sushi chefs take eternity. Last time we went my wife was totally done with the food by the time my roll came out and it wasn't very busy. Luckily it was worth the wait. They have a nice selection of cooked items too with a mix/match lunch special that lets you customize what you want for a good price. Place has some negative quirks but it's a good place to get a sushi fix. Staff is friendly and place is very clean. There's both sushi bar and several tables.

The service here is amazing. We got our food with surprising speed, only like four minutes and we ordered a lot of food. Our waitress was super kind and always came to check in on us. All of the rolls we got were made with good quality fish, big size, and a fair price. Nothing stood out too much in terms of flavor for the roll I ordered (maybe because there was not much sauce) , but it was still pretty good and very fresh. I also ordered the sashimi salad which had a delicious dressing. The dressing wasn't too much, or too overpowering, and they had a good ratio of fish in the salad. Their miso soup was pretty good, but it didn't have much tofu or seaweed in it. I recommend this place if you want affordable and good quality sushi.

Came in for dinner with the kids. We arrived right when they opened and were seated quickly. Our order was taken but it took a really long time to receive. One girl was managing the front hostess stand and serving all the tables while another gal helped run food to tables. We love it here so we chalked it up to being short staffed. We will be back and are hopeful that service will be back to super!
